add word-type English command pull-down menu

I guess I might be a throw-back to the time of "reading" but - I really really like to see a Word-type English command pull-down menu at the top of the window (Where it usually offers help.) & secondly, why is the program pushing updates when we are supposedly not allowed updates. The window is very crowded and not GUI-friendly - set-up looks more like Win 3.1 than Win7 - minimal might have been taken too literally here. Very similar to what was offered by Norton in the late '80's - o-well - fun to take a trip down memory lane - good luck - and thank you GAOTD.
